Trough time we can see that many of the smallest companies around the world modifies their inside structure in order to establish and expand their main market, and a very important element in order to create that is the information systems. In the very particular case of Autosystems we can see that they was a automatic lightning designer and manufacturer that used to manage and store their information with an oldest way to administrate with the documents and information in paper and store in big shelf of information, but later in order to expand and evolve the business they decided to install a system that will help the company in order to get easier access to the information and in a very practical way.It is very important to establish that the installation of that system call ActicEntry helps the enterprise with many different elements, like to expand their market and be more competitive in the business world, and it is crucial that with this kind of systems Autosystems was able to gain more value and as a company and the inside structure was working efficiently, because the internal structure was working in a better form situation that leads to the workers happiness at the time of working there.This kind of systems helps all kind of enterprises, because it is essential to notice that the evolution of a company depends on the inside adaption of the constant changes and actualizations that the information systems brings to the business world (Franco, 2011) At last it is very important to have in mind that with the integration of this new systems that helps the company run in a more efficient way we are not extent to pull over in just one way, it is very important to continue with the actualization process, like the Autosystem shop, they are now currently in search for new systems that can optimize their inside system in order toi be more competitive day after day. QUESTIONSWhy did autosystems decide to install the ActivEntry system? Why did the company feel it was necessary to integrate it with its TRANS4M system?The ActiveEntry system was installed principally to help Autosystems replace the outdated paper system that was being used and more efficiently track production work and report that information to the production staff in order to create a more efficient environment. Autosystems believed that the time and effort would positively impact the company concerning staff transfer, company waste and inaccuracies, and employee morale and understanding of the organization, with the new modifications that brings the system Autosystem will manage better the data information. Which three business benefits, of the many that resulted from the use of ActivEntry, gave the company the most business value?The first one brings a finest work efficiencies are clearly beneficial because happy workers are more productive and take ownership of the work that they are completing. The second one was, the efficient production planning is occurring which allows for more ingenuity and faster resolution of problems creating the ability to remain competitive with turnaround time. And finally, the decrease of scrap from production which results in lower cost of production thereby lowering overhead and increases profit is essential to the triple bottom line. What changes are already being planned to improve the use of ActivEntry? What other improvements should the company consider?Principally all aspects of TRANSF4M system are being looked at for improvement by ActiveEntry. ActiveEntry will eventually replace Autosystems old spreadsheet system in their manufacturing process. They will continue to increase the number of entry terminals as necessary. One item that may be beneficial is the hand held device that downloads to the system that includes the bar-coding system with a bar-code scanner and wireless printing.
